Hi, I’m Tara
founder. wife. mom. Gainesville’s permanent jewelry girl.
After 15 years in dentistry and stepping into motherhood, I stumbled upon permanent jewelry and I was hooked. When I wanted to get linked myself, there was nowhere local to go without chasing down a pop-up. So in 2022, I created Iris Alcoves, Gainesville’s first permanent jewelry studio.
When I’m not at the studio, I’m soaking up time with my husband Tony and our daughters Piper and Aspyn
Why Iris Alcoves?
Iris is one of my birth flowers, representing wisdom, hope, and new beginnings. Exactly where I was standing when I took this leap.
Alcoves means a little nook. A hidden gem. A small, special corner that feels like home. That’s exactly what I want this to be for every person who walks through our door.
What started with a welder and a dream has grown into a team of incredible women with the same heart, where every visit feels celebrated.

We’re a women-led studio creating experiences that feel as good as they look. From permanent jewelry to pearl reveals, every visit is designed to help you celebrate the people and moments that matter most, in a space where you actually feel seen.

Appointments are strongly encouraged and always given priority.
